Program Description - This program is to prepare participants to test for Alcohol and Drug Certification, to educate participants concerning the 12 Core Functions of substance treatment-Screening, Intake, Orientation, Assessment, Treatment Planning, Counseling, Case Management, Crisis Intervention, Client Education, Referral, Report and Record Keeping, and Consultation With Other Professionals in Regards to Treatment, to show competency of substance abuse treatment, and to provide participants with continuing education units (CEU) and education-Ethics, Trauma Informed Care, Telemental Healthy, HIV/AIDS, Motivational Enhancement Therapy.

Goal- To educate individuals who possesses the professional competence necessary to perform the following tasks in providing alcohol and/or drug abuse treatment to clients and significant others in a variety of treatment settings.
